Meet Frank. The owner manager of Schopotts Engineering Ltd based in Chadderton,  near Manchester.

Schopotts Engineering Ltd manufactures bespoke cryogenic ball valves for the oil and gas industry. 50% of Franks sales are from the UK and 50% from overseas. He has owned the business for 17 years. He founded it with his friend Les Potts who was too fond of the sauce and drank himself into an early grave.

Frank lives in a converted farm on the side of the Pennines with his wife Pam. He is from the generation that drank, smoked and partied hard and now likes to do cardio tone classes at the local gym. Although he could still do with a bit more cardio tone and a little less beer. He owns an apartment in Vale do Lobo in Portugal where he escapes to play golf. He plays off 14 and has been a member of his local club for 10 years ever since he packed in playing centre half for his local football team.

Frank remembers when a tackle in football sent the opponent spinning through the air and a tap on the shoulder didn’t bring total collapse and an imaginary card waved at the ref.

HR employment rules, IT generally, the Banks, Agents, in fact most things in the modern business world frustrate the hell of Frank. And what exactly is the Cloud?
